A conference honoring leading technological achievements was held on May 26 in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province. The gathering occurred during the 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo, which took place on May 26-28 in Guiyang.
A total of 49 leading technological achievement awards were released during the event, involving seven black technologies, 10 new technologies, 20 new products, seven business models and five anti-COVID-19 technologies.
The honorees were selected out of 560 scientific and technological achievements in big data and related fields, and the selection process involved rounds of reviews.
The release of the awards was an important part of the Big Data Expo and aimed to showcase the world's leading scientific and technological achievements in the field of big data and reflect the influence and innovation of big data.
Awards for the scientific fight against the pandemic were specially launched at this year's Big Data Expo, highlighting scientific and technological achievements that have secured outstanding results in the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19 using big data-related technologies.
