Guiyang, Guian hold enterprise-university cooperation event

Guiyang and Guian New Area in Southwest China's Guizhou province held an event on Jan 11 to promote exchanges and cooperation between universities and enterprises in order to boost their high-quality development, local media reported.

The event was hosted by Guian New Area's working committee and management committee, and was organized by the organization and personnel department of Guian New Area's working committee, the economic development bureau, the fiscal and financial work bureau, as well as the Guiyang bureau of science and technology.

Representatives from universities such as Guizhou University, and enterprises including Huawei Cloud presented at the event along with representatives from China Construction Bank Guizhou Branch. They shared their new achievements, research, products and innovative ideas.

Guian New Area Technological Innovation Industrial Development Co signed cooperation agreements with the Guizhou Academy of Sciences, Guizhou University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and Guizhou Electronic Technology College to build laboratories and training bases. This will promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into industrial development.
