Big data leads to tech enterprise development

In Guiyang Zhongan Technology Group's production workshop, finished cables go through the production process one by one, waiting to be delivered to customers in the United States, Laos, the Philippines and other countries.

In 2022, the enterprise's output value of industry and trade reached 2.86 billion yuan ($415.35 million).

What is the secret to Zhongan's rapid development and success in both domestic and overseas markets since it started production more than a year ago? The answer is its "5G + AI digital twin" factory project, which relies heavily on big data technology.

Wang Chuanfu, director of Zhongan's factory, introduced that the company has installed and utilized digital full link technology, such as "5G+", HD cameras, industrial computers, and sensors in 126 of its intelligent production lines to collect 24-hour data and receive real-time system uploads.

The operation state of every machine is presented in real time in the form of 3D imaging on the screen at the big data center.

The application of big data has qualitatively improved the management level of enterprises. "Overall productivity has increased by 30 percent," Wang said.

Digital production is also realized here. Employees only need to set production parameters on the equipment in advance, and then key processes will be automatically completed by the intelligent equipment. The qualification rate of products has also been greatly improved.

Up to now, the company has won various national titles, such as top 500 Chinese brands, national green factory, and national high-tech enterprise.

The rapid development of Zhongan is just a microcosm of Guiyang's efforts to promote the integration of the digital economy and the real economy. By 2022, Guiyang had implemented 193 technological renovation projects with a total investment of about 10.8 billion yuan.
