Experts support construction of postgraduate training base

A total of 13 experts from Shanghai Jiao Tong University were invited by the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone bureau of science and technology innovation to liaise with enterprises in the zone on enterprise-university-research institute cooperation, according to a local report on May 8.

This aims to promote the establishment of a joint training base for professional degree holders at the postgraduate level from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Guizhou province.

Experts visited China Aero Engine Guizhou Liyang Aero Engine Co, PowerChina Guizhou Engineering Co, CETC Big Data Research Co, the Digital Transportation Laboratory of Guizhou Zhicheng Technology Co, and Guizhou Jingshi Chengtou Intelligent Education Industry Co, and engaged in exchanges with senior officials at each enterprise.

During their meetings, a range of topics were discussed, including the challenges faced in production and operations.

Subsequently, experts were recruited as mentors for Guizhou enterprises to help build the base.

Next, the zone will promote ways of effectively combining the intellectual resources of universities and high-tech industries, to provide strong sci-tech support for its industrial development.
