Guiyang company manufactures driverless minibuses

A driverless minibus without traditional components – such as rearview mirrors, steering wheels and foot pedals – was produced on June 25 by Guizhou Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co, based in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The company can also customize and construct different vehicle types such as passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and special vehicles – meeting the demand for small batches and multi-vehicle types.

To ensure precise production and stable quality, the company has established a flexible digital production line for autonomous vehicles. It combines artificial intelligence, AI generative designs, composite 3D printing, large-size metal 3D printing and other manufacturing technologies.

As a result, vehicle production costs have been greatly reduced, delivery times have been improved, material waste has been reduced and product quality has been further guaranteed.

Stepping into the minibus, the spacious interior and comfortable seats are the highlights. After years of research and development, the company has released various versions, such as unmanned coffee cars and driverless shuttle buses.

Over 30 products have been developed and are now being sold in over 20 countries, including Spain, the United States, India and South Korea.

The driverless minibus has received worldwide orders, bringing a more intelligent experience to the construction of smart cities.

Moving forwards, plans are for the company to continue to improve its production processes and to meet consumer needs for personalized customization of driverless cars.
