Guiyang bureau provides sci-tech services for farmers

The "bring culture, sci-tech, and healthcare to the countryside" activity, organized by Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area, took place in Yanwan village, Qingzhen city, on Jan 29. The Guiyang bureau of science and technology called special sci-tech commissioners to the scene, bringing sci-tech knowledge and services to rural areas.

At the event, the bureau conducted practical agricultural technology training, as well as distributed spring farming supplies that included over 300 sets of seeds, fertilizers, and other materials.

At the same time, special sci-tech commissioners engaged in face-to-face exchanges with local farmers to understand the technological challenges they face. These commissioners also promoted new agricultural machinery and planting techniques that were suitable for local conditions.

In addition to providing technical guidance in Yanwan village that day, 56 special sci-tech commissioners across Guiyang will continue to provide sci-tech services in rural areas in order to support spring plowing activities.
