The first Scientific Innovation Project Competition of the Tsinghua University-Guizhou Big Data Graduate Education Base was held in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
Academic mentors from Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with enterprise mentors from Guizhou Power Grid Electric Power Research Institute, Guizhou Hangtian Cloud Technology Co, and other enterprises, participated in the event.
First, eight students from Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University presented their research results on topics such as traffic accident risk prediction, intelligent quality detection of remote sensing images, and intelligent auxiliary diagnosis of ultrasonic hip joints.
Then, enterprise and academic mentors provided feedback and awarded first, second, and third prizes for scientific innovation practice, as well as an excellent research report award.
The competition is part of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone's "Talent Day" activities. It aims to showcase the research achievements of master's students from the Tsinghua University-Guizhou Big Data Graduate Education Base and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University-Guizhou Professional Degree Graduate Joint Training Base, enhancing students' research capabilities.
Since the Tsinghua University-Guizhou Big Data Graduate Education Base began operating, Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University have dispatched a total of 186 engineering master's students to Guiyang. These master's students have participated in industry-academia-research integration projects of 43 leading enterprises and research institutions, solving a total of 54 technical problems.
