Intelligent valley in Guiyang attracts, serves talent

On July 17, at a sci-tech innovation achievement exchange activity in Guiyang, the Guizhou Science City · Innovation Intelligent Valley was officially unveiled.

The Guizhou Science City is located in the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone and is composed of the Guizhou Scientific and Technological Innovation Park, Nanyuan Intelligent Valley, and Xingchen Innovation Center.

The planning and construction of the Guizhou Science City · Innovation Intelligent Valley covers an innovative entrepreneurial community that integrates innovation, research, development, living and entertainment, and leisure and social interaction.

It will offer living facilities for scientific research talent working in the valley such as apartments, international schools, and high-end quality hospitals and plans to provide scientific research talent with distinctive service facilities such as a science park, academic exchange center, vibrant leisure center, and library.

"The Guizhou Science City · Innovation Intelligent Valley aims to attract a number of high-level talents and high-end innovation platforms and enterprises, creating new benchmark products and applications with technological leadership, industrial driving force, and industry demonstration," said a relevant official of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

The Guizhou Science City is currently home to 27 national-level R&D platforms and two national-level incubation carriers. It nurtures four listed companies and 103 national high-tech enterprises.

Industrial enterprises above designated size in the Guizhou Science City have driven the implementation of 569 technological transformation projects, achieving an output value of 38.7 billion yuan ($5.35 billion).
