Guiyang enterprise secures national SME Development Fund Support

Autonomous driving technology company PIX Moving, incubated in Guiyang, recently announced the completion of its Series B1 financing round. The investment was led by Zheshang Venture Capital, with funding sourced from the National SME Development Fund and Changsanhe Holdings Group.

The funds will primarily be used to mass-produce the company's autonomous minibus Robobus and self-driving retail vehicle Roboshop and enhance factory production capacity.

Previously, PIX Moving received investments from Silicon Valley VC fund SOSV and Japan-listed TIS Inc.

Yang Zhilong, vice president of Zheshang Venture Capital, expressed strong confidence in PIX Moving's innovation in the smart mobility sector. He highlighted the company's groundbreaking intelligent manufacturing processes, driven by AI algorithms, which are set to revolutionize vehicle production methods and promote a more efficient and sustainable industry.

PIX Moving's autonomous vehicle products have secured bulk orders from over 30 countries and regions, including Spain, Italy, and the United States. The company has obtained road testing licenses in Turin, Italy, and Guiyang, China. It is applying for licenses in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other cities to enable large-scale Chinese operations.

According to a company spokesperson, PIX Moving aims to strengthen its R&D capabilities, maintain a leading position in the global market, and further expand the export of its products and services.
