Guiyang 'Four Cities' Collaboration Week kicks off

The Guizhou Science City Innovation and "Four Cities" Collaboration Week opened on Jan 6 at the Guizhou Science City International Conference Center. Over 300 guests from across China gathered to discuss the theme "Facilitating 'Four Cities' Collaboration to Strengthen the Provincial Capital".

Four cities are the Guizhou Science City, the Guiyang Big Data and Scientific Innovation City, the Huaxi University City, and the Qingzhen Vocational Education City.

Guizhou Science City signed technology transfer agreements with 10 districts and counties in Guiyang, establishing shared technology and talent resource platforms. A simultaneous investment promotion ceremony resulted in seven enterprise project agreements and one banking strategic partnership, further expanding the city's innovation network.

Highlights included launching innovation-focused funds like the Innovation Angel Equity Fund and the Four Cities Cup innovation competition, which provide financial and strategic support for collaborative growth. The event also marked the debut of 100 technical managers, 10 of whom received the symbolic award for their role in facilitating technology transfer and enterprise growth.

Representatives from the "Four Cities" showcased their unique technological resources, fostering deeper collaboration and paving the way for the region's shared development and industrial transformation. This event set the stage for Guizhou Science City to lead innovation models and strengthen its role in driving regional growth.
