Guiyang and Gui'an kick off sci-tech supply-demand matchmaking roadshow

Eight sci-tech project roadshow sessions, each targeting different sectors, opened on Jan 7 in Guiyang City and Gui'an. These sessions created a multidimensional platform for exchanges among government entities, universities, research institutes, investment institutions, and enterprises.

On the same day, the Guizhou Science City Innovation and "Four Cities" Collaboration Week series continued with the Tech Innovation Showcase and Sci-tech Supply-Demand Matchmaking Roadshow in Guizhou Science City.

Eight specialized sessions during the roadshow covered electronic information manufacturing, advanced equipment manufacturing, mineral resource refinement, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, eco-specialty foods, urban-efficient agriculture, modern services, and new energy and materials. Sci-tech managers were also invited to share conversion strategies, enhancing achievement commercialization.

A total of 25 key research outcomes were exhibited. These included smart logistic-handling vehicles from Guizhou Minzu University, large language models from Guizhou University, solid-state sulfide batteries from the Guizhou Material Industry Technology Institute, and nano-functional composite additives and modified nano-functional masterbatches from Guizhou Metallurgical Chemical Research Institute.

The event selected 189 technological achievements from over 20 universities, research institutes, and enterprises within and outside the province. Among these, 30 achievements participated in roadshows, 25 key research outcomes were showcased, and 134 of the latest achievements were forwarded to enterprises, attracting participation from over 200 companies and more than 50 technical managers.

This event facilitated the precise matching of technology supply and demand, integrated industry, academia, and research, and optimized the allocation of innovation resources.
