The "Four Cities" Collaborative Technology Achievement Supply and Demand Service Event (Eco-Friendly Food) roadshow took place on Jan 9 in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. This marked the fifth activity in a series designed to foster connections between innovation and industry needs.
The event featured four key stages: a technology showcase, a demand presentation, technical manager demonstrations, and supply-demand matching sessions.
Two researchers from the Natural Products Research Center of Guizhou Province highlighted their team's breakthroughs and showcased the diverse applications of plant-derived pectin. They introduced an integrated approach utilizing extraction techniques, microbial composting, and quality control technologies to use Rosa roxburghii residue in an efficient and eco-friendly way.
A standout moment was the Guizhou Fishery Research Institute's promotion of a comprehensive technology for deep processing sturgeon. Through case studies and in-depth explanations, attendees gained insights into the full industrial chain, from upstream farming to downstream processing.
Following the presentations, Guizhou Fengwei Food Co called for collaborations on the R&D of differentiated Rosa roxburghii products and invited industry experts to explore innovative applications.
The event culminated in the signing of preliminary cooperation agreements between Guiyang Intellectual Property Agency and key organizations, including the Natural Products Research Center of Guizhou Province, the Guizhou Fishery Research Institute, Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Guizhou Fengwei Food Co.
