The Guizhou Shuwei Digital Industry Innovation Institute was inaugurated in Guiyang during the recent Spatial-Temporal Big Data Industry Development Exchange Conference, part of the Guizhou Science City Technology Innovation and "Four Cities" Synergy Exchange Week. This marks the establishment of Guizhou's first think tank dedicated to digital industry innovation.
Positioned as a new-type social think tank, the institute aims to support digital economic development, focus on key industries, and empower industrial transformation. It brings together experts and professors from universities, research institutions, and enterprises, addressing pressing industry application demands and lengthy technology commercialization cycles while driving innovation in the digital economy sector.
The institute focuses on spatial-temporal information services and low-altitude economy incubation. With the support of the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, it plans to establish dedicated incubation bases for both industries.
The institute uses spatial-temporal information services to develop integrated communication, navigation, and remote sensing (CNR) real-time spatial information services. The goal is to advance innovation and industrialization in this field.
Guizhou Tuzhi Information Technology Co initiated the institute in collaboration with Guizhou Provincial Information Center and Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Center. It was also jointly founded with Guizhou University and Guizhou Institute of Technology.
