Guizhou University and Guizhou DataPay Network Technology Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement on May 13, launching a joint laboratory on trusted data space based on data components.

On May 13, Guizhou University and Guizhou DataPay Network Technology Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement launching a joint trusted data space laboratory based on data components.

Building upon previous collaborations, the parties proposed development strategies and recommendations covering laboratory construction, joint research projects, talent cultivation, and commercialization of scientific achievements.

Specific measures include co-applying for national major projects, developing specialized courses on data elements, and jointly cultivating high-level management talent for data element marketization.

Wang Xu, vice-president of Guizhou University, acknowledged DataPay's leadership in data element commercialization and its technical expertise in data assetization and secure circulation, describing this partnership as a vivid practice in collaborative innovation across industry, university, research, and application.

Tang Hanlin, chairman of DataPay, stated that the joint laboratory will focus on national data resource circulation priorities. Key tasks include collaborative technological breakthroughs, think tank services, standard formulation, scenario applications, and talent development.

The partnership will boost the development of talent cultivation, national strategic think tanks, key technology clusters, and applications, creating a model for university-enterprise collaboration to drive high-quality digital economy development.
