Guiyang demonstration zone designated as provincial industrial park

The Guiyang Big Data Security Industry Demonstration Zone, located in Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone, was recently designated as a "2025 Guizhou Province Digital Intelligence Industrial Park", along with other four industrial parks in the province.

The zone started construction in 2017, with a planned area of 396 mu (26.4 hectares) and a planned construction area of 746,900 square meters, By the end of 2024, it was home to seven large-scale software service enterprises with a revenue of over 20 million yuan ($2.79 million), 12 enterprises with a revenue of over 5 million yuan, and six high-tech enterprises. The total operating revenue of the park reached 400 million yuan.

In recent years, Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone has been promoting the construction of the demonstration zone. As of now, the first comprehensive big data security shooting range in China has been completed, and the "one database and five platforms" including a core resource library, real network attack and defense exercise platform, and talent training platform have been established. A total of eight attack and defense exercises have been organized and carried out, creating the "Guiyang model" of real network attack and defense in the country.

The demonstration zone will transform its advantages in the fields of big data and network security into new quality productive forces and improve its specialized service level, focusing on key links in the security industry chain such as data encryption and security services, and promoting the deep integration and development of the industrial chain.
