Hisense accelerates intelligent manufacturing transformation

Hisense Electronic Information Group has become the first enterprise in Guizhou province to pass the "Intelligent Manufacturing Capability Maturity Level 4" certification, marking the company's leading position alongside six other enterprises in the field of intelligent manufacturing in China.

As a leading enterprise in the electronic information manufacturing industry in Guiyang, Hisense has been promoting the optimization and improvement of intelligent manufacturing capabilities over the past decade. In 2016, the company was approved as a pilot demonstration project for intelligent manufacturing by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In 2023, it became the second enterprise in Guizhou province to pass the Level 3 evaluation and certification for intelligent manufacturing capability maturity.

Over the past two years, the company has enhanced its intelligent production equipment, information system integration, data management application capabilities, digital literacy among talents, and supply chain collaborations to build an increasingly intelligent factory, significantly improving production management efficiency and driving the enterprise's rapid development.

Hisense's annual production increased from 1.9 million units in 2017 to 3.32 million units in 2024, with its yearly output value rising from 6.5 billion yuan ($90.77 million) to 9.5 billion yuan.

Guiyang Economic and Technology Development Zone has collaborated with Hisense to promote industrial chain investment, achieving industrial cluster development and supporting Hisense in accelerating its digital construction and intelligent transformation.

The zone will continue to support Hisense in setting benchmarks, providing intelligent manufacturing transformation experience, and driving more enterprises to achieve intelligent transformation and upgrading.
