Guiyang to hold 2025 Big Data Expo

The China International Big Data Industry Expo 2025 will be held from Aug 28 to 30 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The expo will showcase the latest achievements in integrating and innovating data elements and artificial intelligence (AI) technology, promote the efficient aggregation and release of data resources, and inject momentum into industrial upgrading and high-quality economic development.

Wang Xudong, spokesperson for the National Data Administration, said that this year's expo, the world's first international expo with data as its theme, will set up an international supply and demand docking and cooperation exhibition area, providing digital solutions and experience references for participating countries and promoting the coordinated development of the global digital economy.

This year's expo will focus on five sections: "Data Elements", "Data Industry", "Digital Economy", "Data Infrastructure", and "International Cooperation". It will also feature over 20 exchange activities to share cutting-edge theories and innovative practices in the data industry.

The expo will collaborate with well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and professional event organizations to focus on hot topics such as the integration of the real and digital economies, AI, and domestic software, and hold multiple enterprise and industry events.

Supply and demand matchmaking events, business negotiations, and enterprise-specific activities will be organized to facilitate the integration of exhibitor resources with procurement needs, technology supply, and capital investment. These initiatives will also foster international and regional exchanges and cooperation within the data industry.
