Guiyang's school makes provincial list

The "Vacuum Isothermal Forging Achievement Transformation Intermediate Test Platform for Titanium Alloy Whole Disk Shaft Forging 3D Printing Billet" led by the Electrical Engineering Department of Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic has been approved as the second batch of scientific and technological achievement transformation intermediate test platforms of 2025 by the Guizhou Provincial Department of Science and Technology.

Intermediate test platforms serve as a key link between universities, research institutions, and enterprises. By simulating real production environments to verify technological achievements, it bridges the "last mile" in the process of turning laboratory achievements into an industry reality, reduces related risks, and provides key support for the development of emerging industries.

The selection will promote the integration of 3D printing technology and precision forging technology in the field of titanium alloy manufacturing, injecting new momentum into the breakthrough of titanium alloy near net forming technology

Guizhou Equipment Manufacturing Polytechnic is currently the only vocational college in Guizhou province to be recognized by the platform. This breakthrough is a milestone in the commercialization of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area's scientific and technological innovation achievements, marking increased core capabilities for vocational colleges in Gui'an and Qingzhen in scientific research services for local industrial development and promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and the deep integration of sci-tech and industrial innovation.
