Guiyang holds industry-talent matchmaking event

The Guiyang bureau of science and technology held the second industry-talent matchmaking event on Oct 29.

The event, with the tagline "talent empowering industry, technology driving innovation", links Qin Shuhao, Wu Xiao and their team from the Guizhou Material Industry Technology Research Institute with four enterprises, allowing for efficient docking between scientific research achievements and industrial demand and injecting new momentum into the reduction of enterprise productions, packaging upgrading, and the development of new pharmaceutical products.

The Guizhou Material Industry Technology Research Institute mainly focuses on major technical issues in the materials field, carrying out technical research and development, technological integration, the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and promotion and application work.

The team relies on the institute and Guizhou Medical University to cultivate three major fields: functional ceramic materials, modified atmosphere packaging materials, and β-lactoglobulin-based new biomaterials. It has collaborated with over 20 companies and applied its related technological achievements to multiple industries, including automotive, agriculture, and healthcare.

During the event, the four enterprises reached tentative cooperation agreements with the institute, involving technological development, pilot transformation, and joint research and development.

The event also offered explanations and lectures on policies such as talent exchange support measures for universities, research institutes, and enterprises, scientific and technological innovation vouchers, and post subsidies for high-tech enterprises.
