Shuanglong enterprises win Guizhou provincial sci-tech awards

On Nov 4, the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Awards Conference was held in Guiyang. Three enterprises and institutions from the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone won the 2024 Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Award with their sci-tech projects.

Among them, the "Controllable Synthesis and Device Development of Water-based Electrochemical Energy Storage Materials" project — completed by Guiyang University, Sun Yat-sen University, and other institutions — won third place. This project focuses on the structure-performance relationship and regulatory principles of energy storage materials, providing an important theoretical foundation for developing high-performance energy storage devices.

The research and application of key technologies for breeding and improving the quality and efficiency of dried chili varieties in Guizhou and Chongqing's mountainous area, completed by Guiyang Nanming Laoganma Food Co, won the second prize.

The key technology and application of green, low-carbon mechanism sand concrete, led by Kezhijie New Materials Group (Guizhou) Co, received the third prize.

In recent years, the Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone has strengthened its scientific and technological innovation capabilities and invested in platform construction, resulting in the establishment of four new provincial-level key laboratories. Enterprise R&D investment has increased, accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. A zone representative stated that Shuanglong will further expedite the cultivation and development of new, high-quality productive forces through technological innovation, foster deeper integration of technology and industry, and drive high-quality development with renewed momentum.
