Guiyang company exports new energy vehicles to Europe

A total of 80 new energy vehicles, worth 4 million yuan ($565,356) from Guizhou Zhonghui Heavy Industry Co were recently shipped from Guiyang International Land Port to Europe through rail-sea intermodal transportation for the first time.

Zhonghui Heavy Industry is an enterprise specializing in the research and development, production, and sales of new energy sightseeing vehicles and cultural tourism equipment. Its products cover more than 40 sub-models, including sightseeing vehicles, all-terrain off-road vehicles, and patrol vehicles.

Over the past two years, the company has accelerated its global expansion and is planning to begin overseas production. According to company representative Lin Yangxuan, the use of rail-sea intermodal transportation has simplified packing and related procedures, resulting in a 10 to 15 percent reduction in both time and costs.

With innovative achievements in new energy sightseeing vehicles, Zhonghui Heavy Industry has become a leader in the domestic sightseeing vehicle manufacturing industry. Its products hold 70 percent of the domestic market share and are also exported to more than 20 countries and regions including Europe, America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

"This year, our order volume has doubled compared to the same period last year, and our export value continues to grow," said Lin. He added that the company plans to further expand into overseas markets such as Africa.
