Founded in 2012, Guizhou Touchworks Optoelectronics Co has established two production facilities in Guiyang's Shawen town and Huaxi district. The company has evolved from a single-line manufacturer into an integrated industrial chain and is now China's only supplier capable of producing full-size capacitive touch screens, while ranking as the world's leading shipper in this field.
"Our touch screens, ranging from smart bracelets to blackboards, range in size from 1 inch to 110 inches," said Tang Lei, a company representative. The company produces full-size capacitive touch screens for a wide range of applications, including consumer electronics, commercial displays, and industrial controls, serving leading enterprises such as Hikvision, TCL, and Transsion.

The company's products are exported to more than 30 countries, including Japan, South Korea, and the United States. In 2025, the proportion of overseas exports increased to 40 percent, with annual overseas procurement rising for the third straight year.
Li Zhenxing, head of the company's optoelectronics R&D project, led his team to make breakthroughs in 3A and 3D technologies. "The 3D surface fitting technology is the latest technology that we've developed. It is mainly used in large products ranging in size from 32 to 86 inches. After one year of research and development, it was finally released to the market in the first half of 2025 and started small-batch production and delivery," said Li.

Rare earths were previously crucial to producing such screens, but rare earth resources were scarce and prices fluctuated greatly. The team found a solution — replacing rare earths with common metals such as copper and tungsten, reducing the materials cost by more than 20 percent.
With the support of technology, the average growth rate of the company's emerging businesses has reached 30 percent over the past three years.
