Guiyang Brain Science and AI Education Practice Base opens

The Guiyang Brain Science and AI Education Practice Base has officially opened in Guizhou Science City. The base was established by the Guizhou Technology Trading Market through initiatives to introduce technology into Guizhou and incorporate BrainCo's cutting-edge brain technology.

The base is divided into three functional areas: achievement displays, interactive experiences, and teaching and training. It features equipment such as a focus training system, brain-controlled robotic arms, and brain-computer interface (BCI) devices. Visitors can wear specialized headbands to experience mind-controlled devices, undergo electroencephalogram-based focus tests, and gain a firsthand understanding of BCI applications in rehabilitation and medical fields. The base also offers educational and research activities that engage young people and promote science popularization.

BrainCo, founded in 2015 and originating from the Harvard Innovation Lab, specializes in the research and development of non-invasive BCI technologies. The company possesses core technologies in electrodes and neural signal decoding, and has launched multiple products in the education, healthcare, and consumer electronics markets.

Moving forward, the Guizhou Technology Trading Market plans to use Guiyang as a model to promote these technologies across the province, expanding the application of BCI in areas such as special education, rehabilitation medicine, and human-computer interaction.
