Guizhou Science Hub hosts fishery innovation matchmaking conference

The modern fisheries innovation salon and science and technology achievement transformation matchmaking conference was recently held at Guizhou Science Hub.

Co-organized by Guizhou Huinong (Benefit Farmers) Science and Technology Research and Development Co (Guizhou Huinong) and the Guizhou Fishery Research Institute, the conference attracted over 80 representatives from universities, research institutes, fisheries, and technology service organizations.

Despite Guizhou's rich fishery resources, there have been challenges with transforming scientific achievements into practical applications. Organizers established a one-stop platform that integrates achievement showcases, enterprise demand releases, and on-site negotiations, focusing on solving real-world industrial problems to facilitate collaboration.

Guizhou Huinong, which specializes in matching agricultural technology supply and demand, entered into long-term strategic partnerships with Guizhou University, Guizhou University of Commerce, and Guizhou Modern Fisheries Group during the event, aiming to jointly research aquaculture breeding, farming technologies, and fisheries-related intellectual property.

The Guizhou Fishery Research Institute, Guizhou University, and Guiyang University introduced aquatic breeding, water quality management, recirculating aquaculture systems, and eco-friendly disease prevention technologies.

Guizhou Modern Fisheries Group and Guizhou Zunhui Agriculture Co also proposed technical demands in high-density farming, tailwater treatment, aquatic product processing, and intelligent aquaculture, enabling precise matches between enterprise needs and research resources.
