The 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo (Big Data Expo) is set to take place in Guiyang from Aug 28 to 30. The event is organized by the National Data Administration and hosted by the People's Government of Guizhou Province.

Since its establishment in 2015, the Big Data Expo has grown into a crucial platform for data industry exchanges, digital economy collaborations, and the implementation of innovative technological achievements.

This year, the event is themed “Lexeme: Unlocking New Pathways to Realize the Value of Data Elements”, and features five core sections: the opening ceremony, specialized exhibitions, industrial exchanges, production-market integration, and brand competitions.

The venue will span 60,000 square meters and be divided into five exhibition zones, focusing on computing power, data resources, AI models, data security, and intelligent experiences. More than 300 companies will participate in the event, and dedicated exhibition areas will be set up for the guest province of honor, digitalization in culture, sports, tourism and commerce, as well as international data collaboration. The conference also features China's first AI large-model marketplace tailored for “one-person companies (OPC)”.

Leading companies and industry organizations will debut new products, including intelligent factories, computing power infrastructure, and secure intelligent systems. Over 40 innovative outcomes related to computing-power coordination, data transactions, and generative AI will be announced during the event.
