Local Guizhou company, PIX Moving Co (PIX), will launch a fleet of 25 fully autonomous, driverless shuttles – vehicles without steering wheels or foot pedals – during the 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo. These shuttles will operate on an 8-kilometer loop at Guanshanhu Park, offering a regular service with an estimated one-way trip time of 20 minutes. The vehicles have been undergoing trial runs since April.

Five shuttles in the fleet have been transformed into mobile karaoke booths. The expo will feature two specialty vehicles: a mobile retail-themed shuttle equipped with a fully automated robot and a four-seater concept vehicle that showcases the fleet’s integrated engineering and design.
The operators plan to enhance the in-vehicle experience by incorporating local delicacies, coffee, and cultural creative products, turning the shuttles into unique mobile attractions. The autonomous route has already gained popularity as a new hotspot for locals and tourists, with growing foot traffic.

This autonomous shuttle fleet is a core interactive technology project of the expo, highlighting Guizhou’s achievements in autonomous driving technologies and digital application scenarios. Both expo attendees and residents will have the chance to experience the service firsthand during the event.
