Healthcare institutions apply 'AI Doctor' medical model

An AI diagnostic system called "39AI Doctor", developed by Longmaster Co, an Internet healthcare enterprise in Guizhou, is China's first medical model registered with national government departments.

The project, which boasts a 4TB healthcare training dataset and 300 billion parameters, began its pilot phase at Guiyang Sixth People's Hospital in September 2024 and completed its "slow thinking mode" upgrade in February 2025, which reduces AI hallucinations and provides medical diagnostic suggestions. The tool is now implemented across the hospital’s 22 clinical departments.

The platform offers three core functionalities: automatic transcription of consultation recordings to draft preliminary medical records; compliance-based automatic review of medical records, shifting quality control from post-examination to process regulation; and providing differential diagnosis references for junior doctors. AI serves solely as an auxiliary tool, with physicians retaining clinical decision-making authority.

By the end of 2025, the model had been commercially applied across nine provinces in China, deployed in 448 medical institutions in Guiyang, and used by 3,729 doctors with a total of 941,000 interactions. The model's diagnostic suggestions have an adoption rate of over 92 percent, and it has been integrated into multiple top-tier hospitals, with satisfaction rates in primary care settings exceeding 90 percent.

Its WeChat mini-program, "39AI General Practitioner", has offered over one million free health consultations. The project aims to reduce doctors' administrative workload, enable human-machine collaboration, and let physicians focus on clinical diagnostics and treatment.
