Gui'an robotics company accelerates development

The AI robotics industry in Gui'an New Area has seen steady growth in production capacity and output value. VMR Robotics Co (VMR), based in Gui'an Xinghu Park, has leveraged its self-developed autonomous mobile robots for intelligent production.

Integrating 3D vision perception and multi-sensor fusion technology, its robots perform high-precision autonomous operations. Weighing only 90 kilograms, the robots can carry loads of 400 to 1,500 kg, effectively addressing industrial material-handling challenges.

The company established a presence in Gui'an in December 2024. By 2025, its output value exceeded 60 million yuan ($8.22 million), and by August 2026, it surpassed 80 million yuan, producing over 2,000 robots in total.

Its products are used in the automotive manufacturing and 3C electronics sectors and are exported to international markets such as Japan and Vietnam. Currently, VMR is working to fulfill an order for 200 units in domestic and overseas markets. It is also forming a local R&D team and collaborating with universities on embodied intelligence research. In the fourth quarter, the company plans to roll out mass production and delivery of humanoid robot chassis.
